Here's a picture of the book. Most people have heard of James Patterson for his mystery novels. This is the sequel to Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment, which was on the New York bestsellers list for 12 straight weeks. The first book introduced us to Max (14), Fang (14), Iggy (14), Nudge (10), the Gasman (8) and Angel (6) who have wings, and can fly. They grew up in a kind of evil lab were they were tested on since babies and had their DNA combined. The result: 98% human 2% avian. In the first 2 books Max and her flock try to find out their past, and understand what their purpose is while also avoiding Erasers (half human, half wolf, all predator) sent from the lab trying to kill them. Although these books just sound like X-men, they're a lot better and theres a lot more to them. These books are very funny, entertaining, and they also have a mystery kind of plot to them. With lots of twists and turns. They can be enjoyed by both kids and adults. For more info, you can check out the official website which is really cool at: www.maximumride.com It has information about the the books, the soundtrack(yes it actually has a soundtrack) and check out Fang's blog. :) This is definetely on my top 15 list of favorite books.
